LUMA Ice is Petaluma’s signature winter experience - a festive ice rink and holiday destination that brings our community together. Now in its second year, the Petaluma Fairgrounds will be transformed into a hub of seasonal celebration to host a real ice skating rink from Dec. 10 to Jan. 6, providing four full weeks of holiday magic to residents and visitors alike.

By sponsoring LUMA Ice, local businesses create an accessible experience for all. Sponsorships support opportunities for local nonprofits and community groups to host “Give and Glide” fundraising events, provide discounted ticketing local schools, and allow reduced ticketing costs for low-income community members.

All funds received above the cost of hosting LUMA Ice go to the City of Petaluma Parks & Rec Scholarship Fund, assisting low-income youth attend programming from Parks & Rec.

A robust multimedia marketing campaign running from October through January also ensures valuable brand exposure during this prime time of year. Partnerships with local businesses and community organizations amplify the event’s reach, drawing visitors from across Sonoma County and the Bay Area to experience the magic of LUMA Ice.
