HOST THE TREE LOT

Proposals due by Friday, Sept. 18!

The City of Petaluma is excited to invite local nonprofit organizations and community groups to apply to plan, manage, and operate a holiday tree farm and lot at the Petaluma Fairgrounds for the 2025 holiday season!

This is an amazing opportunity to:

  • Create a magical holiday experience for our community

  • Raise funds to support your organization’s mission

  • Partner with the City as part of our LUMA Ice winter programming

  • Bring neighbors together and make Petaluma shine even brighter this holiday season

We’re welcoming proposals from one organization or team of nonprofits to make this holiday experience a reality. Whether you want to lead the initiative or collaborate with others, we’d love to hear your creative ideas!

How the City Will Support You

We’re not just looking for a vendor — we’re looking for a partner. The City of Petaluma will:

  • Provide the location at the Fairgrounds - the front parking lot area along E. Washington.

  • Supply infrastructure support to set you up for success, including site access, temporary tents, electrical access, a Connex box for operations, temporary restrooms, permitting assistance, and more.

  • Promote your tree farm as part of the LUMA Ice holiday experience.

  • Help coordinate logistics and connect you with key community resources.

  • Work alongside you to make the holiday magic happen.

Proposals & Bids - Form Due by Friday, Sept. 18

We are seeking informal bids and program ideas from qualified nonprofits and community groups.

  • All proceeds from the tree lot should support nonprofit operations or be reinvested into community-serving initiatives.

  • Proposals that enhance community engagement, elevate the festive ambiance, and complement LUMA Ice are highly encouraged!
